I’m so glad you’re here — and if we haven’t officially met yet, let me introduce myself real quick:

👋 I’m Marcie — a Hawaii-obsessed mom of two who’s visited the islands more than 40 times (yep, really).

My first trip to Hawaii was back in 4th grade when we went to visit my grandma, who split her time between Kauai and Seattle. I completely fell in love with the islands — I even started taking hula lessons back home and checked out every book on Hawaiian legends from the library. (Total kid travel nerd.)

Fast forward to now:
✅ I’m a certified Hawaii Destination Expert​
✅ I’ve been to all the major islands (plus Moloka’i and Lana’i!)
✅ I’ve written a bunch of family-friendly Hawaii travel guidebooks​
✅ And I’ve taken every kind of Hawaii trip you can imagine: with kids, with grandparents, girls trips, just my husband, even solo.

Here’s the deal: I’m not a local — I’m a frequent visitor just like you. But that means I can give you real advice on things like:
